Cameron Powell Specialism Concept Art - Week 3

 For this week, I decided to take a break from drawing characters and to draw an environmental concept. 

The concept in question was the so called "Definitely Secret Lair" of the Terrible Three, which consists of a Mount Rushmore inspired mountain with the Terrible Three's faces surrounded by a moat of lava.

The idea of a villain's lair being blatantly exposed to the public with monuments of their own likeness was inspired by Dr Evil's Island Lair from the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Since Dr Evil himself is a goofy parody of spy movie villains, I thought it would be appropriate for the Terrible Three to have a similar looking lair.

There are many details with this concept I was proud of. For starters, I was pleased with how Lollipop's monument is significantly less intimidating than Steelbone's and Atta's. This signifies that Steelbone doesn't view Lollipop as threatening or as serious as him or Atta, which couldn't be any further from the truth.
I was also pleased with the "Superheroes and Landlords Keep Out!" sign.

    Better but now starting talking about how tutorials you have used have helped you and include screen shots! Include links to any tutorials you have viewed or used!!!!

Why I decided to drop the 2D Beat 'Em Up game idea On January 11th 2024, I decided to drop plans to make a 2D Beat 'Em Up test level for my Specialism Project. As a result, I decided to remake my proposal, removing mentions of me developing an Unreal Engine game, as well as a new GANTT chart  and mind map.  There are a few reasons why I came to this conclusion.
