Cameron Powell Specialism Artist Research Part 2
Bryan Lee O'Malley
Bryan Lee O'Malley is a Canadian cartoonist. He is best known for creating the Scott Pilgrim series of Graphic Novels.
The series would receive a video game titled Scott Pilgrim Vs The World in 2010 and a Netflix animated series in 2023, both of which emulate his art style.
What I like about Bryan's art style, especially for Scott Pilgrim, is how it combines elements of Western animation and Anime with exaggerated body proportions and facial expressions, making an art style appeal to either the cartoon or anime demographic.
Mike Inel
Mike Inel is an American artist, notable for drawing characters in an animesque art style. He is also notable for redesigning cartoon characters in said art style.
Some of his most popular videos include the "What if X show was an anime" animations, where he reanimates specific scenes from cartoons in an anime art style. These include The Amazing World of Gumball and Gravity Falls.

Mike Inel was another major source of inspiration for me when it comes to drawing animesque characters. The way he reinterpreted Western characters in an Eastern art style always fascinated me. In fact, in 2022, I tried my hand at drawing cartoon characters in an anime art style for my Art project.

Nice research but I really want to see you exploring how other concept artists do their work. Specifically look at how to tutorials and use what you have learnt to improve your own drawing skills etc. If you don't do this your skills won't improve.
