Cameron Powell Specialism Form Results

 First Form

On November 1st 2023, I decided to create a Microsoft form for my Specialism Project. I thought of asking some students and staff members what character designs they like the look of the most. The one who receives the most votes will be the one that I focus on for my test level, creating a sprite set for them.

The characters I chose for the form were Axel, Cole, Queenie, Florence and Selena. 

One week later, I managed to gain nine responses. Five responded with Selena, Three responded with Axel and One responded with Cole. 

I feel like a majority voted for Selena because of the fact her sketch was much more dynamic than the others, as evident by the responses to Question 2.

 Second Form

On November 22nd that same year, I decided to make a second form. This time, I made one focusing on the villains; Afterburner, Clara Voyant, Lord Steelbone, Atta De Struct and Lollipop. That way, the villain who gets the most votes will be the one I shall base the theme of my level design. For example: if Lollipop gets the most votes, I will design a candy themed level.

I decided to ask students outside of my classroom if they could sign the form. I also sent said students a link to my first form, in hopes that I can get more responses. I asked around 20 students in total.

On December 6th, Selena managed to gain two more votes while Steelbone got the same amount. In short, both of them won the form. 

Oddly, neither of my forms managed to accumulate more than 13 responses, despite the fact I sent the links to over 20 different students. My best guess is that most of the students were busy with their work, forgetting that I emailed the link to them. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the feedback I have received.
